Day Camp is a daylong collaborative brand workshop.

Its purpose is to help our clients put together a brand platform that becomes basis of their brand and is used to inform the brand’s marketing and communications activities going forward.

We designed Day Camp to answer the following questions:

We do this with several exercises that help us define the Theory of the Brand and the world in which our client operates.

  • What is its purpose—it’s reason for being.

  • What is its promise: the commitment it makes to the outside world.

  • What is its position: what makes it distinctive.

Every brand has many qualities it could promote. Through our proprietary system, we help determine which will have the most impact with your audience(s).

Once we know what the brand stands for, we shift focus to how it should communicate.  We'll help define the voice or persona the brand should take.

How it works

Day Camp takes place offsite. It’s informal (it is camp, after all). But we take it seriously so we can meet clear goals and milestones throughout the session. It requires an open mind, a day without distractions, and a commitment to make hard choices between competing options.

Ultimately, Day Camp results in a smarter brand platform.

Smarter because it is built on a realistic view of the world in which the brand operates. Smarter because it reveals the fundamental building blocks of successful brands. And smarter because this process is built to drive alignment and collaboration within your organization.
