Ken Haldin is a public affairs/communications strategist and communications director for Rocket Camp. Over more than three decades, Ken has held various leadership roles in communications, community relations and corporate marketing with Waste Management Inc., Georgia-Pacific Corp. and Florida Power & Light Co. with a focus on public affairs- and environmental-related issues, projects and initiatives.
As an independent communications counselor, Ken has served a range of public-private partnership and sustainability-related organizations, including the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, Atlanta BeltLine Inc., and Brand Atlanta, Inc. In addition, Ken formerly was a print journalist, including a special sections writer/editor for the Los Angeles Times and community newspapers in Southern California and Central Florida. His current community and civic involvement includes the boards of the Piedmont Park Conservancy and the Green Chamber of the South in Atlanta and the Island Green Living Association in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
